About Me

My work began as something deeply personal.
I have loved painting and mixing colors since childhood. Returning to painting later in life — working with acrylics and watercolor — came after a season of prayer and quiet reflection with the Lord. During that time, I felt Him gently placing in my heart that painting could become a healthy path for processing emotions and bringing balance to my nervous system.

Each piece is created intuitively — not from a rigid plan, but from listening to what emerges in the moment. Layers of color, gesture, and contrast become a visual record of an inner process.

In many ways, this work is part of my own healing journey. But art has a curious way of expanding beyond the artist. What begins as something personal can resonate with others in unexpected ways — bringing reflection, calm, or simply a moment of pause.

If these works speak to you in some way, then the conversation between artist and viewer has already begun.

My Creative Process

My work explores expressive abstract painting, where emotion, gesture, and color guide the creative process. Rather than representing the visible world, the focus is on capturing inner landscapes — the subtle movements of feeling, tension, release, and transformation.

I work primarily with acrylic and watercolor on paper, allowing layers, gesture, and texture to emerge intuitively as each piece unfolds.

Each painting becomes a moment of presence translated into visual form.

In addition to traditional painting, I also explore digital painting. Some of these works are shared on my YouTube channel, Instagram and Substack extending the same expressive language of color and emotion into the digital space.
