3 Things Worth Carrying Into the Weekend #1

Here are three things that helped me see God more clearly this week and made me think.

1. The Potter

Sometimes the algorithm works in our favor. I loved this short (33-minute) documentary that popped up in my feed. The analogy of the potter and the vessel is truly beautiful and powerful.

“Yet, Lord, you are our Father; we are the clay, and you are our potter; we all are the work of your hand.” Isaiah 64:8

I didn’t know Dr. Michael Ferris, but his testimony is very touching. Highly recommended!

2. This C.S Lewis phrase

3.This thought

I’ve been pondering that we don’t need more information (please! says my mind!); we need more spaces to connect with people in real life.

Seriously, with all this talk about data centers, big data, and AI, we’re buried under so much information. I don’t want to keep a backup of a chat history I had with someone years ago—I want to keep a sweet memory of a shared laugh or a question that person sparked in me.

What about you?

What’s one thing you’re carrying into the weekend?

I’d love to hear about it in the comments.

Shalom and Love of Christ!
